vAOMS costs nothing for the whole of open beta. When we reach 1.0 it becomes a single flat subscription — €15 a month, or €150 a year. That's the entire idea: no tiers, no per-pilot billing, nothing held back for an upgrade.

How we think about pricing
Four rules we set ourselves before we wrote a line of billing code. They're the reason this page is short.
One plan, not a pricing grid
There is no Pro tier, no Enterprise call-us button, no feature dangled behind an upgrade. If we build it, your airline has it. Comparing plans is a job we would rather you never had to do.
Growth isn't a penalty
We do not charge per pilot, per aircraft, per route or per flight. Recruiting fifty new pilots is the best thing that can happen to your airline — it should not also be the thing that raises your bill.
You don't pay for unfinished software
We are in beta, and beta means bugs. Charging for that would be taking money for your help testing it. The meter starts when the product is genuinely finished, not a day earlier.
No lock-in, ever
Month to month, cancel from the billing portal, no contract and no exit fee. A platform should keep your airline because it earns it every month, not because leaving is painful.
Why it costs anything at all
Servers, storage for every livery and PIREP, the ACARS backend that has to stay up while you are mid-Atlantic, and the hours it takes to keep all of it working. That is what the subscription pays for — it is not a licence fee for software we finished years ago.
While we are free, the platform runs on donations, and we publish exactly what it costs us each month and how much of that the community has covered. Nothing about our infrastructure bill is hidden from the people paying it.
Questions we get asked
Do my pilots have to pay anything?
No. The subscription is per virtual airline and is paid by the owner. Every pilot you recruit flies for free, forever — and we will never sell anything to them behind your back.
What happens to my airline when the beta ends?
Nothing sudden. We announce the end of the free period well in advance, and every airline that already exists gets its 14-day trial from that date before any payment is due.
Why is there no free plan after 1.0?
A free tier only works by making it worse on purpose — capping your pilots, hiding ACARS behind an upgrade. We would rather charge one honest price and give every airline the whole platform.
Does the price go up as my airline grows?
No. Ten pilots or a thousand, the price is the same. You are not penalised for the thing you are working hardest at.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the billing portal. There are no contracts, no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Monthly means monthly.
What if my airline genuinely cannot afford it?
Talk to us. We are a small team running this because we love it, and we would rather find an arrangement than watch a good community fold over €15 a month.
