VAOMS Connect (ACARS)
VAOMS Connect is our desktop ACARS client. It runs alongside your flight simulator and talks directly to your airline's VAOMS account — tracking your flight in real time, feeding the Live Map, and filing your PIREP automatically when you land.
What it does
- Confirms your booking and dispatch details before you push back.
- Streams your position to the airline's Live Map while you fly.
- Automatically detects pushback, takeoff, touchdown, and arrival.
- Files your PIREP for you when the flight ends — no manual entry required.
- Applies your airline's automated PIREP rules (landing rate, overspeed, stall events, and more) so most flights are approved instantly.

Note: VAOMS Connect is currently Windows-only.
Setup
- Run the installer and launch VAOMS Connect.
- Log in with your VAOMS email and password — the same credentials you use on the website.
- Select the airline you want to fly for (if you belong to more than one).
- Book a flight from the pilot Timetable as usual, then start your simulator.
VAOMS Connect picks up your active booking automatically once you're in the simulator — there's nothing further to configure per flight.
Manual PIREPs still work
If you'd rather not run VAOMS Connect for a particular flight, you can still submit a PIREP manually from Submit PIREP in your pilot dashboard, as long as your airline allows manual submissions.

Use the Send Feedback or Report a Bug option from the floating help button in your pilot dashboard — bug reports go straight to the VAOMS team for review.
